JISC Projects

This category includes projects that the GMSA is either leading on or is an active partner in.  Examples of this are:

• JISC Interoperability North West (ioNW2)

• JISC Supporting Ongoing Learning in Vocational Settings (SOLVS)

The JISC projects contribute to the overarching projects in that they provide electronic solutions to:

• Learner support, particularly for learners who are part-time, working and taking courses from several institutions over a period of time

• Developing the GMSA portal as an efficient and effective means of gathering data from several institutions all of which have different IT management systems (interoperability)
