Employers in the logistics industry have collaborated with The University of Bolton, with help from Greater Manchester Strategic Alliance funding, to create a genuinely business-led Foundation Degree in Logistics Management.

Tesco has awarded 20 junior level managers in Greater Manchester the opportunity to gain a recognised higher education qualification as part of their training and development. The supermarket has helped develop the Foundation Degree in Retailing at Manchester Metropolitan University resulting in a qualification that is truly employer led.
